Natural Capital Investment Fund and Brownfields Assistance Center at West Virginia University are hosting a webinar on August 27 at 1pm to share details on their technical assistance offerings and talk about the process offered through the Downtown Appalachia Redevelopment Initiative.
The organizers share about the program:
“Our goal is to make certain that the needed resources are available to support the transformation of vacant, rundown, or underperforming properties into community assets. The Initiative seeks to support downtown developers and to make sure they have the financing, skills, and expertise to capitalize on opportunities by (1) offering financing solutions to facilitate redevelopment projects that revitalize West Virginia towns and (2) providing technical assistance to strengthen and advance projects and increase developers’ skills and expertise.”
This is a chance to learn more about what the program’s cost-share funds can cover, how the team approves requests, selects vendors, and for interested people to ask questions! Eligible cost-share recipients include both for-profit and nonprofit building owners and project developers in West Virginia.
