The say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
And we love it when one community recognizes something excellent happening somewhere else, and decides to replicate it in their neighborhood.
Along those lines, The Hub was excited to learn this week that the culinary spectacular that is Charleston Restaurant Week has spawned admiring progeny in the Mid-Ohio Valley.
Our friends at Buzz Food Service have announced the inaugural Mid-Ohio Valley Restaurant Week!
To be held Feb. 27 – March 4, MOV Restaurant Week will feature 13 local restaurants. Following the same model that has been so successful in Charleston, participating restaurants will offer a three-course, prie-fixe menu for $30 per person, with the aim of encouraging locals and visitors alike to enjoy a great culinary experience, visit an old favorite, or find a new hidden gem, all while supporting local businesses.
MOV Restaurant Week participants include: Austyn’s Restaurant, Boathouse BBQ, CJ’s Italian Kitchen, daVinci’s Italian Restaurant, JP Henry, Mango, Marietta Brewing Co., River Town Grill, Spagna’s, Spat’s at The Blennerhasset Hotel, The Galley, The House of Wines, and The Levee House.

Way to go, MOV! Who is next?
