In Boone County, there are some great upcoming float events on the Coal River.
In the Madison – Danville area, who have participated in The Hub’s Innovation Acceleration Strategies program and now Entrepreneurial Communities program, have the “Anything that floats – Float” coming up on Saturday May 26th.
Kicking off at 11am at the old Madison Pool and going toward Danville Park, this event is seeking to capitalize on the uptick in river recreation in the region and the beautiful natural resources Boone County has to offer, as part of the annual WV Coal Festival.
From their event page:
We will be awarding winners for the most elaborate floats! Be creative!
