Mountain State foodies, rejoice.
Food trucks, typically seen in large cities across the nation, are becoming more popular in West Virginia.
Which begs an event to celebrate.
The West Virginia Food Truck Festival is scheduled from 1-5:30 p.m. April 16 at Valley Park in Hurricane.
The event will give attendees the opportunity to sample some of West Virginia’s best food trucks, and enjoy performances by three of West Virginia’s best bands, according to a news release from the Putnam County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
The festival will feature food trucks from Bridge Road Bistro, Diehl’s Pig Shack, Fireside Grill, Gritt’s Gourmet, Heavenly Hoagies, Heirloom Mobile Kitchen and Rock N Eats, with more trucks expected to be added.
Entertainment will be provided by a lineup that includes music from The Company Stores, John Inghram’s Slugfest, and Fletcher’s Grove…
