The Pallottine Foundation of Buckhannon is partnering with the WV Nonprofit Association (WVNPA) to hold a series of free nonprofit capacity building workshops to address how to do a 360 degree assessment of organizations. Workshops are scheduled for Randolph, Upshur, and Lewis Counties for October 9, and the foundation is planning to schedule a workshop in Webster County for late October, but a final date has not been set yet.
This workshop is created for nonprofit leaders and staff, board members, and volunteers. Sessions will cover:
- How to Assess & Evaluate Your Needs
- What You & Your Team Are Doing Right
- What Training is Needed for Success
Types of needs that may surface include: volunteer management; strategic planning; social media; grant writing; fund development; accounting and finance; and others.
The workshop facilitators are WVNPA Executive Director Laura Lee and WVNPA & Philanthropy WV USDA RCDI Program Director Tasha Anderson.
