The West Virginia Rural Health Association is currently looking for presenters for their 2018 West Virginia Rural Health Conference in October.
And they are specifically looking beyond the usual suspects!
“It is not just doctors and administrators and researchers we want to hear from,” WVRHA Executive Director, Debrin Jenkins, said. “Students, community leaders, advocates and everyday citizens can be a part of this effort too. We want solutions wherever they come from, and whatever form they take.”
To be held at Pipestem Resort State Park, October 17 – 19, the theme of the 2018 West Virginia Rural Health Conference is Revitalizing our Rural Communities for a Healthy West Virginia.
Applications are now being sought to present or host a session at the conference. The deadline for proposals is March 30.
“The onus is on West Virginia’s health professionals, students, educators, community advocates and leaders to generate the ideas and solutions that will lead to real and lasting community change,” Jenkins said.
