Heritage Radio Network offers The Greenhorns’ weekly radio show and its archives  – mostly interviews with young and experienced farmers, good free listening anytime with streaming audio.
 

Exploring the Small Farm Dream, developed by the New England Small Farms Institute, includes a detailed workbook, curriculum and presentation designed to help aspiring small farmers determine whether a farming career is right for them.

Northeast Beginning Farmers offers a variety of resources for beginning farmers. West Virginia is considered part of the Northeast according to USDA’s SARE program definition, so West Virginians can often take advantage of resources available for Northeastern farmers.

Cornell Cooperative Extension's online courses for beginning farmers cost $150 per course.
